International Orchid Spectacular
Papua New Guinea has over 3000 known species and countless unknown species yet to be discovered. Some of this spectacular array of orchids are showcased in the two-day event.

5th National Tourism Conference - Madang
The theme of the two-day conference is “Growing Tourism as a Sustainable Industry” as adopted from the National Tourism Master Plan (2007 – 2017) and will focus on the five main development objectives of the National Tourism Master Plan: Marketing; Investment and Product Development; Human Resource Development; Transport and Infrastructure; and Institutions and Partnerships which will be presented by invited International and Domestic Guest Speakers respectively.

PNG National Surfing Titles - Vanimo
Surfing in Papua New Guinea is relatively new. The first ever national surfing titles was staged at Vanimo, West Sepik province in 2007. The PNG National Surfing Titles is a 4-day event.
